DESIGN DIRECTION
Clarity Before More Spending.
We look at the space as a whole, identify what is creating friction, and establish what to keep, change, prioritize, or reconsider.
Depending on the project, we may address layout, furnishings, materials, lighting, renovation decisions, styling, or the overall direction of a property.
Consultation is primarily residential, with select real estate, investment, development, short-term rental, and hospitality projects also considered.
The goal is simple: make better design decisions before committing more time or money.
THE DETAILS + INVESTMENT

Consultations are available in person throughout greater Los Angeles or virtually nationwide. Following the consultation, you will receive a concise written design plan outlining priorities and recommended next steps within three business days.
Investment begins at $2,000 and is confirmed based on scope. Travel outside the studio’s standard Los Angeles service area may be quoted separately.
Consultation provides design direction rather than procurement, purchasing, or ongoing project management.
If the project develops into an eligible Full-Service Interior Design engagement, the consultation investment may be credited toward the full-service design fee.

Design Consultation is focused professional design direction without the procurement, purchasing, and ongoing project management of a Full-Service Interior Design engagement.
We look at the space or project as a whole, identify what is creating friction, and help establish what to keep, change, prioritize, or reconsider.

The consultation is tailored to the project. We may address layout and space planning, furnishings, materials and finishes, lighting, renovation decisions, styling, or the overall direction of a property.
You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined list of questions. Part of the process is identifying which decisions matter most.

Design Consultation begins at $2,000. The final flat fee is confirmed based on the scope and complexity of the consultation.

You will receive a concise written design plan within three business days outlining the priorities, decisions, and recommended next steps discussed during the consultation.

Design Consultation is intended to provide design direction rather than a complete purchasing or procurement service. Specific products may naturally come up during the conversation, but comprehensive sourcing, purchasing, and procurement belong within Full-Service Interior Design.

Yes. While our work is primarily residential, Design Consultation is also available for select real estate, investment, development, short-term rental, hospitality, and commercial projects where strategic design direction can improve the property or experience.

Yes. Sometimes a consultation reveals that the project would benefit from a more complete level of design involvement.
For projects that meet the scope requirements for Full-Service Interior Design, up to $2,000 of the consultation investment may be credited toward the full-service design fee. Eligibility is determined based on the scope of the full-service project and confirmed as part of the proposal.

No. The credit is intended for consultations that develop into projects of sufficient scope for a Full-Service Interior Design engagement. Smaller projects or limited scopes that do not meet the requirements for Full Service are not eligible for the credit.
